Terms of use

These terms apply to everyone who uses EthanolMart, a business-to-business marketplace that connects distilleries with manufacturers, suppliers, traders and service providers in India. By creating an account or using the site you agree to them.

1. What EthanolMart does

EthanolMart lets companies publish purchase requirements, list products and services, send quotations and contact each other. We are not a party to any deal made through the site. We do not hold stock, take payments, arrange delivery, inspect goods or issue licences, and we do not guarantee that any buyer or supplier will perform.

2. Accounts

• Accounts are for businesses. Each account represents one company, and the person who registers must be authorised to act for it.
• Keep the information on your profile — including GSTIN, address and contacts — accurate and up to date.
• Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.

3. Listings, requirements and quotations

• Only post goods and services you are entitled to buy or sell, described honestly, with prices and specifications you stand behind.
• Materials such as molasses, rectified spirit, ENA and ethanol are regulated. Buyers and sellers are responsible for excise permits, transport passes, e-way bills, licences and every other legal requirement that applies to them.
• Quotations are offers from the supplier to the buyer. Final terms are agreed directly between the two companies.
• Do not post misleading, unlawful or abusive content, spam other members, or use contact details from the site for anything other than genuine business.

4. Verification

The verified mark means our team reviewed a company's GSTIN and business details at the time. It is a basic check, not an endorsement or guarantee. Continue your usual vendor checks, sampling and quality inspection.

5. Fees

Using EthanolMart is free during launch. If we introduce paid features, we will tell members before they apply, and free use you have already made will not be charged.

6. Suspension

We may edit or remove content, or suspend or close an account, if these terms are broken, if information is false, or to protect other members. Contact us if you believe this was done in error.

7. Liability

The site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, EthanolMart is not liable for losses arising from dealings between members, from content posted by members, or from the site being temporarily unavailable.

8. Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and continued use means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of India.

Grievance officer

Complaints about content or conduct on EthanolMart can be sent to ethanolmart@gmail.com. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days.
